Your passport must be valid for at least three months past the intended travel date. Please make sure your passport is valid through December 2026.
-
When should we arrive and depart?
We have access to the villa from 4 PM on September 28th through 11 AM on October 1st. Guest rooms must be vacated by 11 AM on Thursday, the 1st.
-
Will guests be paying for accommodations?
We have decided to cover the costs of three nights for our guests. We know flying across the world is a lot to ask, and we want to make it more attainable for everyone. Room assignments at the villa will be communicated to guests before arrival.
-
Do I have to stay on-site the entire time?
No! We encourage everyone to make the most of their time in Tuscany. The only required events are our wedding events on September 29th. Please refer to the schedule for a detailed breakdown of the weekend. Please let Macy or Christian know as soon as possible if you cannot make it to the welcome dinner on September 28th.
-
Who can I bring to the wedding?
We kindly ask that only those who are explicitly addressed on your invite attend the wedding. The venue has a very strict capacity that we must abide by.
-
I would like to travel by train. What should I know?
The two most common train operators in Italy are Trenitalia and Italo. While Italo provides only high-speed services, Trenitalia runs both high-speed and regional services across the country. Booking with either train operator directly is preferred in case of strikes or other delays. Both train operators have an app where you can book directly, or you can purchase train tickets from a kiosk at the train station. However, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
-
I have a dietary restriction. Will meal accommodations be available?
Yes! Please let Macy know about your dietary restriction as soon as possible so we can ensure proper accommodations with the caterer.
-
What should I bring?
The villa provides small toiletries, towels, hairdryers, and pool towels for all guests. Guests will also have access to a full kitchen, either in the villa or in each individual cottage. Please feel free to bring some small groceries or snacks to keep in your kitchen should you so choose. Also note that tap water at the villa is excellent as the property sources mountain water from a private spring.
-
What is there to do outside of scheduled events?
The villa is equipped with two swimming pools for guests to use during our stay. There are also many walking paths throughout the villa’s expansive property for guests to enjoy. The nearby town of Borgo a Mozzano also has many restaurants, bars, and shops to explore.
